Muhammad Bilal Hanif is a materials scientist and electrochemical researcher specializing in energy storage and conversion technologies. His work focuses on advanced electrode materials, protonic ceramic systems, and solid oxide fuel and electrolysis cells (SOFCs/SOECs).

His research integrates materials science, electrochemical engineering, and energy system design to develop high-performance and sustainable solutions for next-generation energy applications. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research (DIFFER), Netherlands.
